Ride Details

Earn a big 6 points on this early season long Polar Bear run to Lewes , Delaware.  We'll take the NJ Turnpike and cross into Delaware and then along US 1 to historic Lewes, DE.  After signing in and grabbing a very quick lunch at Irish Eyes pub, we'll return on the 12:15 Lewes/Cape May ferry for the relaxing 90 minute passage across the bay. Then we’ll ride home up the Garden State Parkway. You should be home by 4:00 PM.

We’ll try to get to the restaurant by 11:00 and get our lunch ordered and then sign-in. This will enable us to leave in time to catch the 12:15 ferry (the next one is at 2:45.)

Departure Location: NJ Turnpike Richard Stockton Rest Area (map)-just south of the I-195 interchange
Departure Time: 8:30AM - Always arrive 15 minutes early (with a full tank and an empty bladder) for the pre-ride briefing and sign-up.
